Baseline audit
Technical, content, local and authority findings in one prioritised register, with screenshots and example URLs.
A clear baseline, a prioritised roadmap and a monthly view of what changed — with the boring caveats left visible.
An audit is only useful if it changes what someone does next. We deliver a short, ranked list of issues with evidence, effort and expected impact, then agree which items belong in the next 30, 60 and 90 days.
Reporting follows the same principle. We show the metrics that connect to enquiries, explain variance, and separate what we changed from what the market did. When something does not work, it appears in the report with the next action, not in a footnote.
We start with a short discovery call and a read-only review of the site, analytics and search accounts. The first deliverable is a written scope: what we found, what we would fix first, what it costs and what we need from your team. No work starts until that scope is agreed.
Delivery runs in two-week batches. Each batch has a small number of defined outputs, a named owner on our side and a review point with yours. That keeps the work visible and makes it easy to stop or change direction if the evidence points somewhere else.
If something is outside our remit — a complex platform migration, a paid-media programme or a regulated financial promotion — we will say so and help you brief the right specialist rather than stretching the scope.
We do not measure success by a single keyword position. A ranking that never produces a qualified enquiry is not a win.
Scope is agreed in writing before work starts. These are the standard components; the mix and depth are set by the audit.
Technical, content, local and authority findings in one prioritised register, with screenshots and example URLs.
A sequenced plan with owners, effort estimates and a clear definition of done for each item.
Visibility, organic sessions, enquiries and local actions — with a written interpretation, not just charts.
A longer session to review progress, retire what is not working and reset priorities with your team.
A small, relevant set of competitors tracked on the searches that matter, so movement is read in context.
Scenario ranges rather than guarantees, with assumptions stated so you can challenge them.
The same discipline applies across sectors, but the priorities change. These are the industries we build for.
If your question is not here, ask it directly. We would rather answer it before you instruct us.
Yes. A standalone audit includes the prioritised register and a walkthrough call. There is no requirement to retain us afterwards.
Read-only access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics or your analytics platform, Google Business Profile and the CMS is ideal. We can work without some of these, but the audit will be less complete.
Monthly for active campaigns, quarterly for strategy. Weekly rank checking tends to create noise rather than decisions.
No. Search and AI visibility depend on competitors, platforms and factors outside any agency's control. We commit to the work, the reporting and an honest assessment of what is achievable.
Tell us what you are trying to improve and what you have already tried. We will reply with a view on fit, priority and the first useful move.
