Link gap review
A comparison against two or three genuine competitors, focused on the pages that actually rank rather than raw link counts.
Digital PR, professional bodies and local relevance — earned links that a client or a search reviewer could justify.
Links are still one of the clearest signals that other people vouch for a business. They are also the easiest thing to fake badly. We do not buy link placements by the thousand or promise a domain-authority number by Friday.
Our approach is small-batch and evidence-led: a story or resource worth citing, a short list of relevant publications and organisations, and a record of what was pitched and what was earned. If a campaign produces nothing, we say so and change the angle.
We start with a short discovery call and a read-only review of the site, analytics and search accounts. The first deliverable is a written scope: what we found, what we would fix first, what it costs and what we need from your team. No work starts until that scope is agreed.
Delivery runs in two-week batches. Each batch has a small number of defined outputs, a named owner on our side and a review point with yours. That keeps the work visible and makes it easy to stop or change direction if the evidence points somewhere else.
If something is outside our remit — a complex platform migration, a paid-media programme or a regulated financial promotion — we will say so and help you brief the right specialist rather than stretching the scope.
We do not measure success by a single keyword position. A ranking that never produces a qualified enquiry is not a win.
Scope is agreed in writing before work starts. These are the standard components; the mix and depth are set by the audit.

Two or three story angles per quarter, grounded in your firm's data, projects or expertise — not generic 'we are excited to announce' posts.
Trade press, professional bodies, local publications, supplier directories and community organisations, screened for relevance and spam signals.
Short, personal pitches with a clear reason to link. We do not use automated mass mail or fake guest-post networks.
Finding mentions of your firm that never became links, then asking politely for the citation.
New links, referring domains, relevance notes and the page they point to — with no invented 'authority score' promises.
The same discipline applies across sectors, but the priorities change. These are the industries we build for.
If your question is not here, ask it directly. We would rather answer it before you instruct us.
No. We do not buy followed placements, use private blog networks or exchange links at scale. Those tactics create risk that outweighs the short-term gain.
We do not promise a number. We agree a realistic campaign scope and report what was earned. A handful of relevant links from recognised sources is usually worth more than dozens from irrelevant directories.
Allow eight to twelve weeks from the first angle to see earned coverage, and longer for compounding results. News cycles and editorial calendars are outside our control.
We can audit and, where appropriate, prepare disavow files or removal requests. We would first check whether the links are actually causing a problem — most are ignored.
Tell us what you are trying to improve and what you have already tried. We will reply with a view on fit, priority and the first useful move.
